Kathleen was a stay-at-home mother. She would
have homemade cookies ready for her children
when they came home from school, as well as
for the many employees who labored in "Kathleen's
Vineyard."
Kathleen made twelve loaves of bread every other
day when her children were growing up. She would
grind her own wheat for her wheat bread, one of her
favorites.

While raising eleven children, I have gathered and
created recipes for more than fifty years. As you
might imagine, I tested and revised these recipes
until they earned my stamp of approval - and the smiling
approval of my children, who, as you know, can be the
harshest judges.
I created most of these items in my kitchen, and collected
several favorites along the way from family and friends.
These treasured recipes are a gift from my family to yours.
I hope you'll enjoy them and find them as satisfying and
heartwarming as my family has. |
